An obstacle course brings a built-in competitive event to field day — timed runs, relay-style races, and a natural way to keep score that fits right in alongside the rest of the day’s activities. Patriot Jumps works with schools across Acadiana to set up obstacle courses for field day.
Rounding out your field day lineup? Check our water slides, bounce houses, or contact page.
Field day is already built around timed events and friendly competition, and an inflatable obstacle course slots right in — teachers can time student runs, track results by class, or just let kids race each other through the dual-lane layout for fun.
Obstacle courses need a longer, open stretch of flat ground rather than a square area, which usually means setting up on a football field, playground field, or large grassy area rather than a paved lot. Let us know your venue and we’ll confirm it’s a good fit.
We carry liability insurance and can supply a certificate to your school district as part of the vendor approval process. Start this conversation as early as possible, since some districts require several weeks’ notice.
Obstacle courses tend to be a hit with older elementary and middle school students who’ve outgrown a simple bounce house but still want an active, physical station on field day.
We deliver to schools throughout Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, Scott, Carencro, Duson, Milton, New Iberia, Abbeville, Opelousas, Crowley, Breaux Bridge, Rayne, Church Point, Eunice, and Maurice. Book at least three to four weeks ahead for spring field day season.
